student council

This is the first year for the middle school to have its own executive team acting as student council.

Left to right, Tammy Hayes, Middle School Principal, Olivia Kim (Secretary), Emily Livesay (President),听Timothy Humphries (Vice-President) & Ben Lundy (Treasurer).听 Students will meet regularly with the principal to help implement activities and carry out special events.

SERVE OTHERS

MS students are going to serve their teachers and the 91猫先生 campus by cleaning their learning spaces every Wednesday from 3:30-3:40. This is part of teaching our students to take care of what has been entrusted to them and instilling pride in what they get to enjoy every day as a 91猫先生 student.

Teachers have a chore list and students will meet with advisory leaders and in grade teams to take care of the list with such items as: recycling, wiping desks, vacuuming, taking out trash, etc. This is actually a throw-back to the early days at 91猫先生 when this was a part of the end of every school day.

Middle School Retreat is On Its Way but Falling a little later in our schedule鈥� October 13 & 14, 2016

Teachers and students will take the annual MS Retreat on October 13 & 14 during what the athletic department calls 鈥渄ead week.鈥� It is a time that students and teachers look forward to each year. They will actually enjoy a blend of summer and fall activities this year…doing water sports during the day, but going on a hayride and having a special fall late night snack! This retreat gives everyone in the middle a chance to get to know one another outside the classroom as well as roll out this year鈥檚 theme of 鈥淏RAVE!鈥澨� Students will not need any funds except to purchase snacks during recreation time and a souvenir tee shirt/cap if desired. $20 is plenty, but not necessary as there is always water available during recreation and students can bring their own snacks when they pack.

Thursday: Leave 91猫先生 @ 9:30 from Block 1 after taking attendance. *No athletics.

Friday: Arrive @91猫先生 by 3:00 for regular Friday pick-up.
