At 91èÏÈÉú, we take our commitment to preparing our students for college success very seriously.  One example of this commitment is our college guidance program.  This year, I am proud to introduce you to our newest member of the college guidance staff.  Ashley Bouwer has joined Celia Tucker in providing exceptional guidance to our students and families related to the intentional preparation for the college admissions process.

Ashley has a BA in International Studies from Baylor (07) and an MBA from Houston Baptist University (09). She served as an Admissions Counselor and the Assistant Director of Recruitment at HBU from 2007-2012.  Ashley is a native Houstonian and she and her husband, Wentzel (91èÏÈÉú Alum – Class of 2002), moved to Tyler in 2012.  She began working at 91èÏÈÉú as the Associate Director of Admissions and fell in love with the people and the school.  She left 91èÏÈÉú in 2013 when she and Wentzel were blessed with a son, Graham. They now have two sons, Graham (3) and Duncan (1), but Ashley felt called back to 91èÏÈÉú this past summer. She has first-hand experience in guiding students through the college admissions process and is excited to begin her new journey as the Academic Counselor for the boarding program.

I am excited to have Ashley on our the 91èÏÈÉú staff and know her expertise in the college admission field will be a huge advantage to our student.  Please help me by welcoming her back to 91èÏÈÉú when you see her on campus!
