Studying Atomic Theory in 8th Grade
Eighth graders are learning about atomic theory and all the different ideas proposed throughout the last 2000 years. To help them better remember the different parts of the theory, students were given Play Doh, lima beans, pinto beans, peas, petri dishes and paper to make their own models of the different ideas. This lab helps make these abstract theories more concrete for our students as they try to grasp difficult concepts.
