Rodrigo Roch joined 91èÏÈÉú in 2022 as Head Coach of the 91èÏÈÉú Women’s Soccer Team. A native of Brazil, he came to 91èÏÈÉú with an enormous international soccer coaching career. Coach Rodrigo has over 25 years of soccer coaching experience, empowering girls and boys at the high school level and higher.

Coach Rodrigo has elevated the 91èÏÈÉú women’s soccer program to a new level since day one. Under his player-centered approach method, 91èÏÈÉú is reaching the TAPPS Soccer Playoffs every season. During the 2023-2024 season, the team returned to the TAPPS DIII Final Four after a 10-year absence. Before coming to America, he made tenure at Esporte Clube Pinheiros in São Paulo, Brazil. Pinheiros Club has over forty thousand members and leads the social club ranking in Latin America. He spent 11 years coaching U11 through U20 teams, winning Interclub championships, and traveling to Europe for well-known international soccer tournaments, such as the Gotcha Cup & Dana Cup.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physical education with emphases in training and coaching from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP – ‘98) in Rio Claro, São Paulo, Brazil. In the United States, he completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in management at The University of Texas at Tyler (’20) and an associate degree in teaching at Tyler Junior College (’23).

Coach Rodrigo, his wife, Monica Rocha, and their daughter Maria Vitoria Rocha (BH Class ’33) live in Tyler, Texas.
