Dr. Robert Sloan Lee has been a part of The 91猫先生 Family since 2017.聽 He grew up in the Dallas area and did his undergraduate work at the University of North Texas where he met his wife, Elizabeth.

He did his Ph.D. studies at Wayne State University in Detroit.聽 His dissertation, 鈥淢iracles: A Philosophical Analysis,鈥 is a survey and critique of various arguments offered against rational belief in the miraculous.聽 More recently, he published two essays in the anthology, C.S. Lewis as Philosopher: Truth, Goodness, and Beauty (Liberty University Press, 2017; second edition).聽 Both essays deal with Lewis鈥檚 Argument from Desire (namely, the idea that if we find in ourselves a natural desire that cannot be satisfied by any experience in this world, then the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world).聽 In 2023 Dr. Lee gave a presentation at the University of Texas Tyler Philosophy Colloquium critiquing the idea that beauty is merely a subjective preference (or only a matter of taste).

He is currently thinking and writing a lot about the relationship between God and moral truth, reading the Jane Austin stories aloud with his daughter, and investigating the philosophical allusions hidden in Paradise Lost,听补苍诲 Beowulf.

Dr. Lee also enjoys playing designer board games.
