Speak Life! Understanding the Power of Our Words
This week’s MS/US chapel theme was taken from Proverbs 18:21, “Words kill, words give life;聽they鈥檙e either poison or fruit鈥攜ou choose.”
The “Speak Life” chapel featured a message from Mr. Craig Langemeier, Senior Director of Ministries at Pine Cove Christian Camps, who suggested students (1) share a complement within 30 seconds of meeting a person and (2) asarents, “What can I do for you today?” 聽To further encourage students to speak life, parent Shelle Thomas purchased bracelets for all the students to wear that say “Speak Life” on one side and “Proverbs 18:21” on the other.
