Sharing the special moments
From the desk of Shawn Rhoads, Director of Residence Life:
I was in my office working on the Res Life Strategic Plan when I heard one of our students exclaiming, 鈥淥h my gosh! This is crazy! I got in! I can鈥檛 believe I got in!鈥�
I stepped out to see what the excitement was about to find Sam Nechi with a lap full of Texas A&M literature with an expression of disbelief on his face, staring at the letter he just received. It was extremely cool to share that special moment with him. Even as I type this sentence I can hear him out in the parking lot telling his friends about his acceptance. It鈥檚 awesome to be able to be here and celebrate these victories with these kids. We are proud of all of our seniors, boarding and day, and wish them all the best on their college plans and acceptances.
