Second Graders “scoot” in class
Second graders have been studying the three types of communities in Social Studies.
As a review, the students played 鈥淪coot.鈥� With a partner, students traveled through stations around the room to look at several pictures of different communities and recorded urban, suburban or rural. Seconds later, students moved to a new picture until they had 鈥渟cooted鈥� all around the room correctly identifying each community. Classes then checked their community answers together for more review. Below, Mrs. Batis鈥� students work together in their game of 鈥淪coot- The Communities Version.鈥�
