Pumpkins on Parade at The Lower School
This week is “Great Book Week” at the Lower School! In honor of Great Book Week, 鈥淧umpkins on Parade鈥� will be taking place in the library for the remainder of this week and next week. Pumpkins on Parade is a contest where students decorate or disguise a pumpkin to resemble a character from a library book. Our students will vote for their favorite storybook character pumpkin during library class time.聽
Our school-wide book parade assembly will take place on Thursday, October 27th. The storybook pumpkin winners of The Children鈥檚 Choice Award鈥� will be honored at this assembly, along with a performance from our Pre-K through 1st graders and the 鈥淔rom Stories to Stage鈥� Drama group.
