Middle School computer classes took class to the AFM this week

Mr. Loudermilk鈥檚 6th grade class spent Monday in the Museum learning about the history of communication. Computers use special binary languages to translate, store, and communicate date. Using binary code and signal flags, students encoded secret messages just like soldier鈥檚 did in the War Between States.

SPARC: 6th grade in Hill Country

Sixth graders hiked Enchanted Rock and聽many explored a cave for the first time. Camp activities included archery, a nature hike, soil forensics, weather and Archers Quest. The trip ended with a hike to Hamilton Pool and a聽Competitive game of Paintball. What a fun聽week of learning and developing friendships!
