AP Biology – Glow in the Dark

AP Biology students made bacteria glow in the dark this week!聽 Using a transformation process, the AP Biology students caused bacteria to take in the genes needed to produce the fluorescent protein found in some jellyfish.聽 The most frequent comment from students when they looked at the glowing bacteria was 鈥淭hat is soooo cool鈥.
