We had an awesome time celebrating Dr. Seuss’s Birthday this week! We had special readings from our principals and headmaster, played games, had treats, and created some of the coolest crafts!
During Fine Arts Week, the entire school was treated to an energetic, dynamic presentation by Ms. Elizabeth Kahura. Ms Kahura, originally from Kenya,聽included students during her performance by letting many students play musical instruments from Africa. Other students dressed up as villagers and helped her tell an Anansie, the spider tale.
Author, Ms. Mary Brooke Cassad, entertained third-fifth grade students with tales of an armadillo named Bluebonnet as part of Fine Art’s Week! Our students were entertained and captivated by her stories!
