Mr. Reed integrates more technology into his classroom
In 11th grade Worldviews class, they are moving to a new online learning management system. They spent the beginning of this semester blazing the trail towards a paperless class. Coach Reed has been working with the technology staff to launch our first RenWeb Learning Management System (LMS) classes. These classes will now receive and submit nearly all their documents for class via RenWeb鈥檚 LMS.
They spent time in class navigating a variety of functions that the LMS offers, such as online quizzes, discussion boards and assignment downloads. Coach Reed is excited to know that the possibilities of engaging the students beyond the walls of his Founders Hall room can enrich their class time together significantly. He is also super excited about how much less time he will be spending wrestling with the copy machine.
鈥淚 hope that the variety of ways that we can encounter and present the material through our new LMS will allow more students to engage with the material in a deeper way,鈥� Reed said.
