Mountain Women
Our high school girls that participated in Mountain Women SPARC聽spent their聽days in the Ozarks hiking up and down trails along the Upper Buffalo River and exploring the caves of Lost Valley. 聽They ended up doing quite a bit more hiking than originally planned due to surprise weather and vehicle issues, but they聽still saw incredible rock formations, hidden caves, towering (and frigid) waterfalls and zip-lined through some seriously misty forests.
Highlights from the trip were morning solitary times spent journaling, praying, and reading God鈥檚 word in the midst of His beautiful creation and evenings around the fire discussing what God was showing them聽about His view of who they聽are through Christa Black鈥檚 book God Loves Ugly. The girls were beautiful imitators of Christ as they served each other, loved each other, encouraged each other, taught each other, and 聽鈥減uddle jumped鈥� with each other making the most out of circumstances beyond their control.
