Making Valentine’s Cards in Art
PK through 5th graders all had the opportunity to make a Valentine鈥檚 Day card for KVNE鈥檚 yearly Valentine Card Drive. 聽Employees of the radio station hand out homemade cards to people in hospitals and assisted living homes located throughout the listening area.聽 Each child decorated at least one card to give away.聽 Some wrote a special message to the recipient. 聽Most cards have the 91猫先生 shield with the words 鈥淢ay God鈥檚 love protect and fill your heart鈥� on it glued to a big red or pink heart.聽 We glued John 3:16 on the cards too! 聽Kids were busy all week using stickers, yarn, hole punchers, and markers to complete the cards.聽 Now all that is left to do is to deliver them to KVNE!
