Making an Excel Spreadsheet Using M&M’s!
Microsoft Excel was introduced to fifth grade students in the computer lab with the help of M&M candy. Students first grouped and counted colors of M&M’s.聽聽Using this information,聽聽they created a聽 simple Excel spreadsheet聽which included聽a pie chart.聽Students also聽formatted the data points to make each pie chart section match the colors of M&M’s.聽聽Fifth graders聽were then able to eat their data!
