Liquid Lab in 6th Grade Science
Sixth graders were challenged to make observations of 4 liquids in lab on Friday. They noted their color, temperature, smell, and how they reacted with a white powder. Students also tested to see how long it took ice to melt in each liquid. Using their observations, they inferred the identity of the liquids. Students were excited to see some of the liquids react with bubbles and fizzing. It was a great first lab for sixth graders.
