Lady Guard middle school soccer splits with Grace, All Saints
91猫先生 middle school girls soccer achieved the program’s first win earlier this month, and the Lady Guard did it in impressive fashion, with a 4-0 victory over Tyler All Saints MS.
Caroline Welty scored two goals with Katelynn Henics and Katherine Mondrik also hitting the back of the net for the Lady Guard, who received a clean sheet from goalkeeper Lauren Wright.
The victory was a nice bounce back from 91猫先生 MS dropping its season opener, 6-1, to Tyler Grace Community Middle School. Mondrik scored聽and Wright finished with eight saves in the loss.
91猫先生 faces a rematch with All Saints, this time on the road. The game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.聽Monday at Mewbourne Stadium in Tyler.
