Investigating Soil
Dual Credit Biology students applied the concepts of chemistry to a real life situation 鈥� soil analysis.聽 The students performed tests on several types of soil to determine the pH levels as well as the amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium present.聽 Knowing this information can help avid gardeners or people involved in agriculture industry make informed decisions about amending the soil for optimal results.
