Boys Hoops: Guard fourth-quarter rally not enough in loss to Gorman
91èÏÈÉú provided their best offense in the fourth quarter, but the hole was too big to dig out of in a 49-39 loss Tuesday against Tyler Bishop T.K. Gorman.
The Guard (10-10) dropped to 1-3 in TAPPS District 3-5A with the loss. 91èÏÈÉú faces Tyler All Saints in its regular-season finale on Friday for Senior Night at Herrington Gym.

As for Tuesday, 91èÏÈÉú trailed 20-14 at halftime with its deficit growing to 34-21 entering the fourth quarter. The Guard turned up the heat in the final frame, scoring 18 points in a comeback effort, but ultimately was not enough.
Reid Hill and Miguel Vega led the Guard offensively in the loss with 11 points and 10 points, respectively. Nine of Hill’s points came on three 3-pointers.
