First Graders are Writing Poetry!
First grade is jumping right in to the wonderful world of poetry this month.聽 We have some great ideas for where 鈥淚ckle Me, Tickle Me, and Pickle Me, too鈥澛� disappeared to – just look for the flying shoes in our classroom!聽 We also enjoyed meeting Shel Silverstein and learning that we have more money smarts than the boy in one of his poems.聽 We are enjoying using all of our reading and writing skills in fun new ways as we enter the world of poetry.聽 Stop by and see our poets in action!
