Eighth grade counts stars instead of sheep
Eighth graders are busy making a Thinglink over their assigned stars. In the program, students can import a picture of their star and attach icons around the poster which have facts about their stars. This is a fun way to use technology to learn about stars. Students were discovering the color, temperature, mass and luminosity of their stars. They also discovered how many light years away from Earth their star is located. Next week, students will be sharing their information with their classmates.
