Heidi continued her education at Stephen F. Austin where she graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.

In 2008 she got her Masters in counseling from John Brown University. After that, they moved to Tyler where she spent 12 years at home raising her kids.
