Maggie Newman has been honored for her exemplary volunteer service with a President鈥檚 Volunteer Service Award.

The award, which recognizes Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities and their country, was granted by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program.聽 91猫先生 nominated Maggie for national honors this fall in recognition of her volunteer service.

Maggie has logged numerous hours with SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) where she serves as a foster, as well as volunteering for 91猫先生鈥檚 Fine Arts productions and other organizations in our community.聽 She qualified for regional recognition through the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards and will be presented with a certificate of recognition and a letter from President Trump for her achievements in May at 91猫先生鈥檚 award ceremony.

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, sponsored by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), recognizes middle and high school students across America for outstanding volunteer service. 鈥淎cross the United States, young volunteers are doing remarkable things to contribute to the well-being of the people and communities around them,鈥� said Prudential CEO Charles Lowrey.聽 鈥淧rudential is honored to celebrate the contributions of these students, and we hope their stories inspire others to volunteer, too.鈥�
