College over Coffee
As part of college emphasis month, Celia Tucker, our college guidance counselor, is meeting with parents by grade level to help them help their students start preparing for college today. 91èÏÈÉú parents met around the 91èÏÈÉú kitchen table (we call it the Lecture Hall) and had coffee and conversation about college. We talked about how important grades, GPA, a strong transcript, rigorous courses,  relationships with teachers, counselors, college representatives, resume’s, campus visits, and essays are in the college application process. It was wonderful to validate how much students are already doing to prepare and it was a wonderful way to start the morning.
