Val Allen Receives DAR Scholarship

Val Allen was honored as a DAR Good Citizen Tuesday afternoon at the Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship Tea. Val was selected as a DAR Good Citizen because of her DAR Good Citizen qualities-Dependability, Service, Leadership, and Patriotism. Val is exemplifies these qualities in her life and in her relationship with others. Congratulations to Val Allen!

Oral Presentations in Humanities

Students in Dr. Brunson’s Humanities class gave a series of biographical presentations on the Renaissance this week. Subjects included Leonardo da Vinci, Artemesia Gentileschi, Shakespeare, Barbara Longhi, Isotta Nogarola, music, spices, and even Sir Thomas More.
