Algae lab caused color changes

Pre AP Biology students used encapsulated algae beads to simultaneously study photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Algae beads were placed in a pH indicator solution sensitive to changes in CO2 concentrations. The beads were then exposed to either light or dark conditions. 91èÏÈÉú students create Spanish Valentines cards

This week students in Spanish 3 classes created homemade Spanish valentines for KVNE radio. The station will deliver the valentines on February 14th to seniors in assisted living facilities and children in the hospital. The students included Spanish greetings and words of encouragement on their valentines.
