As part of the 6th graders learning about space travel, they each built a model rocket similar to the ones used to launch astronauts into space. Last Friday, students in Mrs. Wallace’s class launched their rockets and observed differences in flights.

On Friday, Coach Collins’s class dissected frogs in order to learn about different muscles and organs.

Coach Collins’s class practiced dissecting frogs via tablets today. The real frog dissection will happen next week, but this way they will be prepared for where their incisions go and what they will be examining.
