Last weekend, 6th grader Kurtlee Smith was at a horse judging competition in San Antonio. The team placed 4th out of 47 teams total. Kurtlee placed 10th individually out of 145 kids in the Junior 4H Division. Kurtlee is also a member of the Middle School equestrian club at 91猫先生.

Mrs. Williams’s class went to the American Freedom Museum this week to do research on their Texas history projects. They are making a brochure on people who immigrated to Texas in the 1800s and the history around that time.

Students designed their animals in their sketchbooks, created an armature, wrapped the armatures with plaster gauze strips, coated the surface with joint compound and sanded. Finally, the students will paint their sculptures and add embellishments.
