Mrs. Powell’s prekindergarten student, Piper, brought a frog (really a toad) to school. The librarian, Mrs. England, asked Piper if she聽would bring the frog聽to the library聽because, there was a matching book.聽 Brooklyn is holding the book, I took my Frog to the Library, while Piper holds the frog!
Kindergarten Spanish students acted out the story, 鈥淟a Gallinita Roja鈥�, The Little Red Hen.聽 They made masks to represent which animal they were:聽 la gallina 鈥� the hen, el perro 鈥� the dog, el gato 鈥� the cat, or el rat贸n 鈥� the mouse.聽 The students participated in the story while studying animals in Spanish.

4th Grade students took a 2-day excursion to Pine Cove this week. Students learned about the aquatic system, team building, animals, and many other parts of nature. It was a great bonding time for students, and a unique learning experience outdoors, immersed in God’s creation!

The second grade “Hoedown”聽was聽the culminating event to the second grade study of聽Texas.聽 Students showed off their dancing skills along with listening skills, following directions, and left and right directionality.聽 By the end of the program, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Brashier even had those parents dancing!
