One Hour of Code

91èÏÈÉú Lower School second through fifth grade students were introduced to computer science by participating in the “One Hour of Code” program, a national initiative to promote computer literacy. Students used problem solving skills to analyze and create steps to solve a series of puzzles. Fourth graders pictured below are intent on the task!

Canned Food Drive

Lower school students helped Mrs. Partida with her annual canned food drive for the East Texas Food Bank. The whole school participated but the fifth graders loaded the truck and carried the cans to the warehouse.
