At the conclusion of their聽study of winter, Mrs Newman’s class聽read the book, Snow Balls, by Lois Ehlert.聽 In this book, there is a snow dad, snow mom, brother, sister, cat, and dog.聽 The students chose the snow 鈥榯hing鈥� they wanted to make.聽 We also made a snowman snack.
Prekindergarten and Kindergarten students participated in a relay race to put on clothes they might have to wear in the snow if it ever snowed in East Texas. This activity was a reading response to the story, The Jacket I Wear in the Snow.
