Prekindergarten students witnessed the hatching of several baby chicks. One even hatched during chapel and students excitedly counted one, two, three chicks when they returned to class. Mrs. Fritcher said, “We should name them A,B, and C!”

PreKindergarten聽students recently discovered that clean hands spread less germs than dirty hands! They experimented聽touching slices of bread with dirty hands and clean hands and then waited a few days to see what happened to the bread. The results are pictured below. We now know why we need to wash our hands!

First graders were able to complete a lab project thanks to fourth grade friends聽from Mrs. Ponce’s class. The task was to type a list of describing words using a Word document. Then the students copied and pasted the list to create a “word cloud” called a Wordle.

5th graders went to NASA this week for a field trip! Students had the opportunity to explore the facilities and learn about space travel. Students also got to see space shuttles and rockets while also learning about our vast universe!
