Our PreK students lead the lower school in chapel this week. Students sang songs about God and shared with our student body about their Faith in Christ. Some students shared verses, others displayed聽drawings they made about God, and still others explained what they loved about Jesus.
Second graders spent three聽weeks聽 devoted to Fairy Tales.聽They read fiction and non-fiction books about the聽Renaisance and medieval time period.聽Students聽also studied and compared聽 the well-known story of Cinderella with other similar tales around the world,聽learning how different countries such as 聽France, Africa, China, Egypt, India, Korea and Native Americans聽have adapted the story.聽Students learned about the elements […]
Spanish students have been busy recently!聽5th graders made bilingual Mother鈥檚 Day cards for their moms the Friday before Mother鈥檚 Day.聽 It gave the students practice in Spanish and moms best wishes in both languages. 1st grade girls also worked on their Spanish by doing a puzzle during Spanish center time.
