Pollination in PreK

April 29, 2016

PreK students are learning about butterflies and the pollination process. After studying as a class, students experienced the process for themselves as they drank nectar (Apple juice) and simulated the transferring of pollen using powder from Cheetos (students flew around the room and touched other flowers to show pollination).

4th Grade Studies Magnetism

Our 4th graders are learning about magnetism and directions as we build our own compasses with foam balls and needles. Students discovered that Earth has a magnetic force field around it and learned how to use it for directions.
