Third graders bit a chunk out of the earth while learning about all of the layers it has.

Fifth graders had to imagine that they were mechanical engineers that just invented a new Compound Machine. They had to explain to others what their invention does, how it works, and why someone should use it.

First graders brought in 101 items to celebrate the one hundred and FIRST day of school on Monday. We counted, grouped and even measured and weighed our items. We had fun comparing our times. This week in Lower School chapel, Mrs. Dahn’s first grade class acted out some of the miracles of Jesus including the feeding of 5,000 people, the resurrection of Lazarus and walking on water.

Mrs. Haugh’s Pre-K class graphed predictions on Groundhog Day, watched the video of Punxsutawney Phil and made a craft to retell their families of what the outcome was from Phil’s prediction.

100th day activities were flowing at the Lower School today. Pre-K brought 100 items in a brown bag, glued 100 smarties on paper, made a hate with 100 dots on it, made 100th day trail mix and painted 100 dots on paper. Mrs. Newman’s class also had a full day of activities.
