Library Media Center researches Dr. Seuss

Second graders in the LEGO club build and write books

Second grade LEGO club members built models with one and two axles and then compared which one was easier to steer. One of the members loves LEGOs so much that she was inspired to write a book and share it with the entire group.

Fourth grade took a field trip to Perot Museum

Fourth grade went to the Ross Perot Museum in Dallas. They had many hands on lessons with multiple science, technology, engineering and mathematics, sports hall where students can simulate different sports skills and virtual racing against animals and athletes.

Students in the Lower School library went to Nigeria this week

February 17, 2017

Lower School’s library story, an African folktale, originated in a small village in Nigeria. After listening to this tale, students were able to “visit” Nigeria using Google Earth. Following our trip to Africa, we returned to 91èÏÈÉú using Google Earth and many students visited their homes and even located colleges they hope to attend.
