This week forth graders were given awards based on their character this school year. They also presented their Tall Texan projects to their classes while dressed in character.

Fifth grade took their annual end of the year trip to Medieval Times this week. This trip is a special time set aside each year when students along with classroom and specials teachers  spend time together before moving on to middle school. It was a great time with wonderful memories made.

Today at the Lower School, the first graders recited one of the poems they have written this year that they are most proud of. Many of their moms were in attendance and got to hear about how much their children love them.

On Thursday, our Kindergarten classes gathered outside for activity booths such as making butter from whipping cream, posing for pictures and washing clothes.

Kindergarten visited the Texas Fish Hatchery in Athens to learn about fish habitats. Also, as the Kindergarten service project, they held a Read-a-thon. Two students recently won the raffle to be a librarian for a half day at the Lower School.
