Mr. English鈥檚 9th Grade Humanities classes made a visit to the American Freedom Museum.聽 They were learning some of the history surrounding D-Day during WWII.聽 They will be taking the facts they learned about D-Day/WWII and comparing those to what they鈥檝e learned about the Trojan War through their reading of the Iliad.
Early next year, the American Freedom Museum will open a new one-of-a-kind outdoor memorial and educational exhibit. Using binary code and signal flags, students encoded secret messages just like soldier鈥檚 did in the War Between States.
