Making Bilingual Cards and Solving Puzzles in Spanish Class

Spanish students have been busy recently! 5th graders made bilingual Mother’s Day cards for their moms the Friday before Mother’s Day.  It gave the students practice in Spanish and moms best wishes in both languages. 1st grade girls also worked on their Spanish by doing a puzzle during Spanish center time.

6th Grade World’s Fair

Students, faculty, family, and friends alike enjoy the displays created by sixth grade students for the World’s Fair.  Students were asked to create an interactive presentation over a nation of their choice. Diagramming Sentences

7th grade Humanities is reviewing grammar concepts by diagramming sentences. Diagramming sentences require a strong understanding of various parts of speech as well as complex sentence structures. The students also enjoy trying to figure out the different patterns each sentence makes!
