
Autumn Scavenger Hunt
Mrs. Chesley’s class went on an autumn scavenger hunt after reading the book “We’re going on a leaf hunt”. We found four different color leaves, grass, bark, twigs, acorns, and flowers.

First graders toured the American Freedom Museum today. We looked for things that started with blends (sn,fr,fl, etc.) to complete our study of blends while also learning more about the rich history of our nation!

Seniors came by the Academic Office to get a treat if their application was complete. The Students were treated to giant sized candy bars for submitting at least one college application. It was a 鈥渏ust say no to procrastination鈥 celebration!

In Chapel this week Mrs. Brown’s class performed a skit about Abraham and the lessons God taught him. The students learned that they should trust and obey God no matter what.

Last week we celebrated our love of books at our annual Great Books Week. Students engaged in a variety of activities during the week, all about books! On Friday we celebrated all the books we read with one another at our Great Books Parade!

After learning about the letter J, today each child made their own peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Our sandwich making skills range from 0-10! We liked making our sandwich; however, eating it and licking the plate just might be the best part!
