Trigonometry went outside to learn this week

Students in Trig got to took a break from the classroom to go outside this week to enjoy the nice weather. They calculated the height of the flagpole using similar triangles and tangent functions.

100th day of school comes with themed activities

100th day activities were flowing at the Lower School today. Pre-K brought 100 items in a brown bag, glued 100 smarties on paper, made a hate with 100 dots on it, made 100th day trail mix and painted 100 dots on paper. Mrs. Newman’s class also had a full day of activities.

91猫先生 students create Spanish Valentines cards

February 03, 2017

This week students in Spanish 3 classes created homemade Spanish valentines for KVNE radio. The station will deliver the valentines on February 14th聽to seniors in assisted living facilities and children in the hospital. The students included Spanish greetings and words of encouragement on their valentines.

Sixth graders take a field trip to learn about rocks

Sixth graders attended the Gem and Mineral Show today at the Rose Garden Center. Pre-K use iPads in the library

Mrs. Haugh’s Pre-K students practiced writing and reading skills in the library using an iPad app which included a blank page for writing and drawing. After reading The Full Moon Napping House聽by Audrey and Don Wood, students wrote several story words.
