First grade recites poems for moms

Today at the Lower School, the first graders recited one of the poems they have written this year that they are most proud of. Many of their moms were in attendance and got to hear about how much their children love them.

Sixth grade launches rockets

As part of the 6th graders learning about space travel, they each built a model rocket similar to the ones used to launch astronauts into space. Last Friday, students in Mrs. Wallace’s class launched their rockets and observed differences in flights.

Virtual frogs dissected in preparation for the real thing

Quail dissected in Mrs. Wallace’s lab

Eighth graders were able to see the evidence firsthand of how food chains work in the animal world by dissecting a quail and observing what they found in the crop and gizzard of the quail.
