Congratulations to our students who were inducted into the National Honor Society this week!

Macroeconomics students participated in Mrs. King’s Egg Day this week. This activity encouraged students to look at how businesses package their products from a logistical and economical view point. Students designed and developed packaging for fragile products and tested their design in a competition with their classmates.

Seniors came by the Academic Office this week for a treat if their college applications were complete! Submitting college applications, sending their SAT and ACT scores from the testing agency, and making sure a transcript is on its’ way can really help them breathe a sigh of relief when it comes to applying for college.

Eighth graders are learning to identify physical and chemical changes by testing four white powders. Each were observed dry and then after mixing with water, vinegar and iodine. Students were looking for evidence of which change occurred.  

Ms. Adams’s classes had a lab this week were they heated different elements to see what reaction each of them had before recording them.

Forty 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students are learning how to program robots Dash and Dot using one of our coding apps on our school iPads.
