91èÏÈÉú wins big at McNabb Math Contest

91èÏÈÉú participated for the first time in the 2016 McNabb Math Fall Contest. The McNabb is the premier math contest for schools in the Dallas Metroplex and surrounding areas. It is open to all schools in Texas. It is sponsored by the Dallas Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Over 500 students and dozens of schools now participate.

Although it was very cold, 28 91èÏÈÉú math junkies found their way into Lauderdale Hall for friendly competition. Donuts, pigs and orange juice — the breakfast of math junkies — made the morning warm up quickly! Tests have been taken and scores posted and the first place winners for the school competition for each contest are:

Pre-algebra: Nate Dahn
Algebra I: Bryce Schwab
Algebra II: Xiao Chen and Brian Guo (tie)
Pre-calculus: Eddie Xiong
Calculus: Alan Zhu
