Bible Students Study, Present on World Religions
After spending the entire first semester looking at the Christian worldview, junior Bible students have started studying other worldviews. Since Spring Break, students have spent time learning about Judaism, Islam, and now Hinduism. Each student is asked to research and present a very specific aspect of each religion. One might be asked to present on a religion’s ideas on what God is like. Another might be asked to research a religion’s view on evil, or how to fix evil in the world.  Coach Reed divides each religion into roughly 16 research topics.  Instead of Coach Reed lecturing and explaining each religion as a whole, students get to deeply engage with the thoughts and ideas of the religion as they research and present to their peers. What a great way to learn more about the Christian worldview and how it is different from other religions around the world!
