Are you Taller than an Emperor Penguin?
Are you taller than an Emperor Penguin?听 Mrs. Dahn’s first graders found out that听these penguins听can reach 48 inches tall!听 Some of our first graders were in fact taller than an emperor penguin, but most were not! After comparing听heights, students also tried to be penguins.听 We learned that God made them better suited for the cold, but our huddle did help.听 We tried to protect our eggs and our chicks on our feet but it was harder than we thought.听 Penguin daddies are amazing–just like our daddies! We are grateful for听our loving God who made听everyone and everthing in his special way.
