91èÏÈÉú

Congratulations to four 91èÏÈÉú Guard Chorale students. On Saturday hundreds of high school students from all over East Texas, both public and private schools, auditioned for spots in the Texas Music Educator’s Association All-Region Honor Choir. Earning places in the choir from 91èÏÈÉú were Megan Priddy, Audrey Mackey, Lauren Eden, and David Chambless. The students prepared and rehearsed four pre-selected pieces and auditioned before a panel of 5 judges, and also had to sight-read an 8 measure line of music with 30 seconds of practice. Lots of pressure, but they did it!

These student will now represent their school in a concert on November 14 at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, along with 91èÏÈÉú middle school students Cate Kimball, Cole Overbeek, and Morgan Maddox.
