6^th grade Humanities students created Playbills for Jack London’s The Call of the Wild as part of their study of the book. Students analyzed characters and conducted an in-depth study of the protagonist’s character development. Students then focused on the changes in setting and how it influenced the novel’s plot. They created fantastic playbills, complete with paragraphs about the setting, the protagonist, a summary, and a critique of the novel. Students then presented these Playbills to their peers so that everyone could learn more about the book!
