3rd Grade Travels to the Moon
When聽third graders came to science lab today, they had to pretend they were on an Apollo mission to the Moon. The title of our journey was 鈥淲hat Is Being On The Moon Like.鈥� 聽Imagine you live in the future and your home is on the Moon. How would their life be different than it is now?聽 How would it be the same?聽Students聽discovered what living on the Moon might be like by hosting a Lunar Olympics. We used several science tools like meter sticks to measure our Earthly heights. Each student then jumped up to see how high off the ground they could get. We then聽put a piece of tape at their highest point and聽compared聽the height of their jump聽on Earth with the moon. In the near future, we will uncover more clues on the actual equations and聽report our winners!
